Photodate

My friend Daniel and I went on a “photodate” today….which is basically a time for us to hang out and catch up and most importantly, take pictures!  Our conversations revolve around photography, types of cameras, things we’d like to experiment with. We usually go to the lake to take pictures, but today we went out to some nearby farmers’ fields and to one of the local graveyards. Got several photos I like:

Purple Heart

Taken at the graveyard. Canon EOS Rebel T1i, 1/500, f/7.1, ISO 200

Graveyard

This was taken with my Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim, which I recently bought. I’m not always a fan of the distortion and vignetting, but I really liked it in this one. Taken with Fujifilm Fujicolor Superia X-tra, 400 ISO. Scanned in, minor color editing.

Farmer's Field

Also taken on the Ultra W&S.  Scanned in, cropped slightly.  Daniel and I liked going to the fields…provided a nice change of scenery from the lake.
